I'm really confused by Erin and her love life. Last night on The City, Erin's boyfriend Duncan comes to town. Then the couple runs into J.R., Erin's former flame, at a party. Duncan gets upset with the blaring flirtation between the former lovers and has a serious talk with Erin about it the next morning.
Erin can't really expect Duncan to wait around while she makes up her mind. This dude is constantly flying in from Canada (can't be cheap). Erin obviously still has feelings for J.R. She even tells Duncan her younger heart will always love him. I don't know what guy would be OK with this.
We don't know how it goes down, but Erin tells Jay that Duncan dumps her. Erin seems upset by this. Again, not sure why. Why doesn't Erin just call J.R. and invite him to the New Years party?
At midnight, all the couples kiss, and Erin goes out on the balcony and cries because Duncan doesn't call. I'm not going to feel bad for you, Erin. If anyone gets my sympathy vote, it's Duncan. He was being led on. You're just upset because he called you on it.
And the Most Obnoxious award goes to Olivia and her cousin, what's his face, for having the same tired conversation about him living in her apartment and not having a job again.
